Are you no longer happy with your current subscription and you want to put fewer items up for sale? You can switch to a lower subscription!

As store subscriptions are valid for a period of one month, you can select a lower subscription at any time. However, it will not be active until the date when your subscription is due to be renewed.

Depending on your store subscription, you can choose from the following 4 types of subscriptions:

  • Free (up to 1,000 items)
  • Standard (from 1,001 to 10,000 items)
  • Advanced (from 10,001 to 100,000 items)
  • Premium (from 100,001 to 1,000,000 items)

To select a lower store subscription

  1. Go to the “Subscriptions and Services” page
  2. Under “My Store Subscription”, click “Add a method
If you have already linked a payment method, go directly to step 6
  3. Select your payment method, either PayPal or Mangopay.
With Mangopay, you can either choose to link a credit card or debit your balance.
  4. Click the button to validate the payment
  5. A message will confirm that your payment method has been updated
  6. Under “My Store Subscription”, click “Modify
  7. Select the new subscription you want based on the number of items you want to put up for sale
By default, the payment method you initially chose is retained.
If you retain PayPal, you will be required to validate your payment on the PayPal website
  8. Click “Save and continue
  9. A message will confirm that your new subscription will be activated

Each subscription is renewed automatically every calendar month. Renewal requires a direct debit payment, which will be deducted from your PayPal or Mangopay account (the payment method depends on the one you used when taking out the subscription).
If you’ve chosen to debit your Mangopay balance, this must be topped up in advance to maintain your subscription.

By selecting a lower subscription, you’ll reduce the number of items you can put up for sale.  We suggest that you remove any sale items you don't want to keep as soon as possible.
If, however, you don't want to select the items to close yourself, the system will do it for you on the date indicated. It will only keep the last items put up for sale; the number of items will depend on the subscription selected.

For example, if you switch from Standard to Free, the system will only keep the last 1,000 items you put up for sale (including your ongoing sales with bids).
If you switch from Advanced to Standard, the system will only keep the last 10,000 items that you put up for sale (including your ongoing sales with bids).
