Here are the changes to our general terms and conditions of use which come into force on 1 October 2024.

These changes concern, among other things, the following topics:

The previous commission system - Platform fees

A series of articles have been modified or deleted as part of the transition period between the site's previous system whereby commission was charged to sellers and the new system whereby platform fees are automatically charged to buyers at the time of payment.

Here are the articles that are concerned:

2.3.2 has been renamed "Platform fees"

2.3.2.1 as there are no longer any ongoing auctions that started before 02/04/2024, the date on which commission fees stopped being charged to sellers, this article is deleted.

2.3.2.2 this temporary article disappears and everything related to platform fees is moved to article 2.3.2

5.2 prohibition on distorting the amount of platform fees

5.5.2 removing the possibility of delivering the item before payment

6.2 update of buyer's ethics

6.2.3 updated to take platform fees into account

7.1 updated to take platform fees into account

Here are the articles that are concerned:

3.6.2.5.3 « top stores»

3.6.2.6 implementing the API PASS

Stricter payment deadlines for purchases

In order to avoid misuse and uncertain interpretations, the rule concerning the 14-day payment period by the buyer, which has been included in article 16.8 for many years, has been clarified and strengthened.

Here are the articles that are concerned:

1.1.4 reminder of the deadline for paying for purchases within 14 days using one of the website's methods

6.2 reminder of the deadline for paying for purchases within 14 days using one of the website's methods

6.2.3 reminder of payment deadline

6.3 penalties for non-payment

7.2 removing the change to the payment deadline and the right to collect in person. As in the past, the seller is responsible for declaring a sale that has not been finalised.

7.3 removing hand delivery and changing ‘payment conditions’ to ‘sales conditions’ to avoid any confusion between the website's payment conditions and the sellers' sales conditions

16.8 withdrawal of the express agreement to waive the payment period. This is because misuse has unfortunately occurred, with significant and very substantial exceptions to the basic 14-day payment period that has been in force for years. We are therefore obliged to strengthen our position on the payment period and to withdraw the possibility of derogating from it, even if the application of the rule will retain a certain flexibility in practice.
